Garda Wind was born out of a desire to experience the world of sailing and to share it, with new approaches and new ways of doing it. Our aim is to introduce people to the "boating life” and all this means to us, living closely and cleanly with the nature that surrounds us, learning to respect it, finding ourselves, and learning to act as a team. Sailing is a real exercise for both body and mind, it is a philosophy of life and a course of action that follows rhythms completely separated from the stress of everyday life.
We are based at Torri del Benaco, an enchanting place surrounded by the blue of the lake and the green of the hills behind it. This is our nautical base. Lake Garda and above all its winds give us our "action centre". Here we organise our sailing courses and sailing excursions. This is where our training courses are held, in a place that has always been a reference point for competitive sailing activities in Italy. But since we also want to offer a complete 360° sailing experience, we also include sailing’s ultimate dimension: the Sea. We have two nautical bases on the Adriatic Riviera, at Marina di Ravenna and Chioggia, where we offer courses in sea cruising
Our instruction is always practical and results-orientated, aiming to provide tools for action, through the best techniques and facilities. The philosophy that guides us in our teaching is always "learn something by doing it": we are convinced that even the most difficult concepts can be learned through practical action. And doing something leads to having adventures! We offer courses for adults, including fixed programmes, and courses in cruising. Our fleet includes racing boats, cabin cruisers and cruising vessels.
